After posting about the baptism, I received a couple of other cute pictures, so I decided to post again.
I also wanted to say that Matthew and I worked a few hours on Saturday for his first major projects of first grade and wow! It was a lot! They do this thing called EXTRA CLASS the week before tests and it consists of about one extra 40 minute long class to be done at home per subject (5 main ones) but we´re given a week to get them all done. The subjects are Math, Social Studies, Spanish, English and Science. The problem for us is that on Monday, Wednesday and Friday we get home from school around 3:30pm and have to leave by 4:20pm to get to TaeKwondo. We get home from that around 6:15pm and then it´s time for dinner, bath and bedtime pretty much. So we have fewer afternoons to work on it but it really is a great review for their testing week coming up next week in each subject. Every day next week, he´ll have a different test on a different subject. I can´t believe my little baby is already about to start studying for tests!
Another thing I wanted to point out about Matthew is that I was thinking about this the other day when I was cuddling with Julian across the room from Matthew but Matthew was hardly EVER jealous of my attention and cuddling with Julian. It´s hard to believe that Matthew being as attached to me as he always has been was never angry with me dedicating so much attention to Julian as a new baby. I have seen other kids get downright angry and throwing tantrums because their mother was taking care of their brother or sister. Even though Matthew and Julian fight plenty, I´m so proud of him for being such a great big brother and always understanding and being so mature. I couldn´t be happier or prouder of my beautiful boys!
